How can I get gear tech support?

Can I pickup from your location?
Yes, our gearhouse is conveniently located by the Nashville International Airport (BNA). If you are interested in picking up, please mention that on your order request form and a member of our team will coordinate with you.
How do I rent a piece of gear?
Fill out the Request Rental form indicating which gear you need and a member of the FXGH team will be in touch.
What are your hours of operation?
Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. CST.
What if the gear I’m looking for is not listed?
Drop us a line on the Contact page and let us know what you are looking to rent. We are always investing in new gear to be able to provide the best industry-specific collection to meet our clients’ needs.
Do you supply consumables for the gear?
Gear utilizing non-hazmat fluids such as fog fluid or snow fluid has one gal per unit included with each rental. Any hazmat or color-specific consumable needed such as flame fluid or confetti must be acquired separately.
We have a list of preferred vendors who will be happy to provide quotes and drop ship directly to a location of your choice. Please note this request when submitting your Rental Request.
Do I need a license to rent pyro gear or flames?
Yes, we will need proof of license for rental. Also, we’ll need to see proof of insurance before we can confirm the rental.
Are there any venue requirements or permits needed to operate gear I rent?
Yes, there are various state and local permits required depending on the effect being performed. Likewise, venues have their own specific requirements of what they allow on their property.
It is ultimately the renter’s responsibility to confirm if the effect they are renting is permitted in the venue they will be operating in or requires state or local AHJ permitting.
What if I decide I need an operator for my gear?

Do I Need to carry my own insurance to rent Gear?
Yes. We require $1MM in General Liability coverage naming FX Gearhouse, LLC as additional insured on your policy.
